Presenting

Hospital Radio Swindon provides 24-hour per day programming, 7 days per week. About 3/4 of this is made up of pre-recorded tapes that play constantly and are changed daily. The rest of the output is live programmes.

Full training is given to potential new presenters.

Programmes are normally 2 hours as part of a weekly schedule.

We have no strict programme content policy but presenters must be aware that most of our listeners are older people who are unwell. Gentle, melodic music is the most requested style.
