Celebrating Decades of Dedication:

Hospital Radio Swindon was proud to celebrate the incredible dedication of two of its volunteers at our recently held AGM.

Ken Hunt & Arthur Perkin have each dedicated an astonishing number of years to bringing joy, comfort, and entertainment to patients across Swindon.
We were delighted to be joined by Gareth from the Voluntary Services team at GWH to present the long service awards.

A Legacy of Service: 40 and 50 Years of Volunteering

Arthur Perkin our chairman of the station, has been volunteering for an impressive 40 years. Over the decades, Arthur has been a familiar voice on the airwaves, sharing his love for jazz music, sports news, and much more.

Meanwhile, Ken Hunt has reached an even more remarkable milestone, celebrating 50 years of service. His dedication and warmth have been heard on many Swindon Town games and sports updates.
